3 In case you use the Multicolor Drop Out function with the KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, KV-S4085CW/L, KV-SS905C or KV-S3105C, it is necessary to update the Multicolor Drop Out utility to the latest version as well. 4 The Automatic Deskew function of RTIV ver 3.X or later requires a black reference roller. In case you update RTIV from ver 2.X to ver 3.X or later, and use it with KV-S6040W/KV-S6045W/KV-S2055L/KV-S2055W, it will not work properly. It is because they have a white reference roller.
Please replace the white roller with the black one, since it will be provided as
an option. In case you are a user of KV-SS25 or KV-SS55 or KV-SS855, we are afraid that you cannot use the Automatic Deskew with RTIV ver 3.X or later.
5 In case you use the Automatic Image Orientation function with
the KV-S1020C, KV-S1025C, KV-S1045C, KV-S2026C, KV-S2046C, KV-S2028C, KV-S2048C, KV-S7065C, KV-S7075C, KV-S3065CW/L, KV-S4065CW/L, KV-S4085CW/L, or KV-S3105C, it is necessary to install the

Image Capture Software
Image Capture Software is a new application software provided by Panasonic. It
scans documents using Panasonic scanners and stores image files on your PC just
like RTIV. The difference from RTIV is the page-editing capabilities, like page
shuffle which makes the operation easier with the use of thumbnail images. If you don t often use these functions, RTIV may be more convenient. Please refer to Image Capture Software page or the manual below to get more detailed information.

Diamond Mine is a game mode in Bejeweled 3 and the iOS and Android versions of Bejeweled. In the computer and console versions, it is a Secret Mode that becomes available by completing any four mini-quests of the first Lost Relic of Bejeweled in Quest mode. However, in the mobile version, it becomes available by reaching the fifth level of Classic mode.
The name of this game mode is a reference to the fact that Bejeweled was originally known as Diamond Mine, but the name was changed because it was too similar to that of an existing game called Diamond Mines.
Gameplay
An overview of the game mode s instructions.
In Diamond Mine mode, the board consists of a large digging machine similar to Mr. Driller with the gems placed inside it. Within the machine are also numerous patches of earth, which make up the lower rows. The objective of Diamond Mine mode is to clear the patches of dirt, which is done by matching gems adjacent to the earth. Using Special Gems can also clear patches of dirt. Between the sixth and seventh row down is the Dig Line, a white line that goes across one side of the board to the other. When all the dirt above the Dig Line has been cleared, the digging machine moves two rows four if all the dirt within the machine is cleared downward where more patches of earth await. When you get to 1000 meters, the number of meters will show MAX probably because there is no space to fit the number 1000, since there are only 3 digits.
Each game of Diamond Mine begins with only four basic gem types: red, yellow, green, and white. As the game progresses, blue gems and violet gems are added in attempt to make the game more difficult. Interestingly, orange gems do not appear at all in Diamond Mine mode.

In addition to dirt, patches of rocky earth can also be found in Diamond Mine mode. Unlike dirt, rocky earth requires additional adjacent matches of gems in order to clear it. Rocky earth includes rocks requiring two matches to clear them, stones requiring three matches to clear them, and boulders requiring four matches to clear them. Similar to dirt, rocky earth can be cleared faster by using Special Gems. Upon reaching 200 meters, a new type of rocky earth called dark rock is introduced. Unlike rocks, stones and boulders, dark rocks cannot be cleared by matching gems adjacent to them; they can only be cleared by the effects of Special Gems.
Throughout each game of Diamond Mine, Hypercubes will randomly drop onto the board. These can be used to help clear patches of dirt and rocky earth more effectively. Hypercubes can also be found embedded in random patches of dirt, but these only appear from 40 to 120 meters.
Displayed at the top of the digging machine is the Timer Bar. Each game of Diamond Mine begins with a time limit of ninety seconds. When all the earth above the Dig Line has been cleared, a 30-second time bonus is awarded in which thirty seconds are added to the Timer Bar. If all the earth inside the digging machine is cleared, a 90-second time bonus is awarded in which ninety seconds are added to the Timer Bar. In the iOS and iPad versions of Bejeweled 3, the respective time bonuses awarded are twenty-five seconds for clearing all the earth above the Dig Line and seventy seconds for clearing all the earth within the machine. It is possible for the timer bar to go over .

When the Timer Bar reaches thirty seconds, The Voice will announce a brief warning regarding the amount of time remaining. When the Timer Bar reaches fifteen seconds, the digging machine begins to flash a bright red glow and a warning siren can be heard. These effects intensify as the time limit approaches expiry. When the time limit runs out, the game ends in which the digging machine breaks down in a series of explosions.
Upon completing a game of Diamond Mine, a Stats Screen will appear with various information about the finished game, such as the maximum depth reached and the total duration of the game.
There are two badges that can only be earned by playing Diamond Mine mode: Diamond, Mine and Relic Hunter. Reaching certain high scores awards the former, and collecting certain numbers of artifacts in a single game awards the latter.
In the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Bejeweled 3, reaching a depth of 200 meters or further in a Diamond Mine game awards the achievement/trophy Diamond Miner.
Scoring
Unlike the other game modes in Bejeweled 3, points in Diamond Mine mode are not earned by matching gems. Instead, points are awarded only by collecting various treasures that are embedded in random patches of dirt. When treasure is unearthed, it floats toward and places itself inside a cylindrical glass container that is suspended by chains below where the score is displayed the container is not present in the iOS version of the game; unearthed treasures instead float toward where the score is displayed and then disappear. No matter how much treasure is collected, the container does not seem to overfill. It is worth noting that points in Diamond Mine mode are awarded in the form of currency except in the iOS and iPad versions of Bejeweled 3.
The treasures that can be unearthed in Diamond Mine mode consist of the following:
Gold – These appear as sparkling gold nuggets. The amount of points earned from collecting gold ranges from 2,000 to 6,000. Gold can be seen throughout each game of Diamond Mine, but it appears less frequently as the digging machine reaches further depths.
Diamonds – These appear as shimmering crystals. There are four different colors of diamonds: cyan, blue, violet, and red. The amount of points earned from collecting diamonds ranges from 10,000 to 25,000, with cyan diamonds being worth the least and red diamonds being worth the most. Unlike gold, diamonds are not seen until the digging machine reaches 120 meters. Strangely, the amount of points displayed when diamonds are unearthed is larger than the actual amount of points awarded. This is referred to as a Crystal Tax by Bejeweled fans. Interestingly, this oddity is only present in the PC version of Bejeweled 3.
Artifacts – These appear as various objects that are often decorated with colorful jewels. When an artifact is unearthed, it floats toward the front of the glass container where it displays its name and point value. A total of forty-six different artifacts can be found in Diamond Mine mode, with each artifact having their own point value ranging from 7,500 to 150,000 points. Artifacts can be seen throughout each game of Diamond Mine. Sometimes it is also possible to collect the same artifact twice in a single game.
Gameplay tips
As you start getting deeper, rocks may take up to three nearby matches to destroy. The deeper you go, the more crucial it s going to be to make special gems. Hypercubes can be used to remove Dark Rocks if you match a color that is adjacent to one.
You can continue to make moves after clearing rocks to the Dig Line, which can give you a head start on the next round before the board moves up.
Try to match two Hypercubes whenever possible, which will clear the entire board.
Make horizontal matches adjacent to rocks as often as possible since these will clear out more rocks than a vertical match.
Try not to match special gems until they are close to the rocks, especially Star gems, which can help clear out an entire row beneath the Dig Line.
Focus on the tougher areas first. Rocky ground is denser than regular earth, and destroying the rocks tends to dig around the rocks as well.
If you still have a special gem near the top of the board as you get close to the Dig Line, go ahead and detonate it even if it s not the best possible move, because once you hit the Dig Line, the special gem may scroll up and off the board. And there s nothing sadder well, in Bejeweled 3, anyway than a wasted special gem.
Trivia
At the beginning of each Diamond Mine game, the uppermost patches of dirt have grass on them.
Pausing the game anytime in Diamond Mine mode causes the gems on the board to vanish, but they reappear whenever the game is resumed. This most likely happens to prevent cheating.
According to an early screenshot of Bejeweled 3, the digging machine originally had a simpler appearance and it was more orange in color.
In the Nintendo DS version of Bejeweled 3, it will show 999 instead of MAX when you get to 1000 meters.
According to evidence found inside the game files of Bejeweled 3, it seems that the original name of this game mode was Buried Treasure.

Why You Should Use an Antivirus Boot Disc
Antivirus boot discs deal with this by approaching the malware from outside Windows. You boot your computer from a CD or USB drive containing the antivirus and it loads a specialized operating system from the disc. Even if your Windows installation is completely infected with malware, the special operating system won t have any malware running within it.
This means the antivirus program can work on the Windows installation from outside it. The malware won t be running while the antivirus tries to remove it, so the antivirus can methodically locate and remove the harmful software without it interfering.
Any rootkits won t be able to set up the tricks they use at Windows boot time to hide themselves from the rest o the operating system. The antivirus will be able to see the rootkits and remove them.
These tools are often referred to as rescue disks. They re meant to be used when you need to rescue a hopelessly infected system.
Bootable Antivirus Options
As with any type of antivirus software, you have quite a few options. Many antivirus companies offer bootable antivirus systems based on their antivirus software. These tools are generally free, even when they re offered by companies that specialized in paid antivirus solutions. Here are a few good options:

These are just a handful of options. If you prefer another antivirus for some reason Comodo, Norton, Avira, ESET, or almost any other antivirus product you ll probably find that it offers its own system rescue disk.
How to Use an Antivirus Boot Disc
Using an antivirus boot disc or USB drive is actually pretty simple. You ll just need to find the antivirus boot disc you want to use and burn it to disc or install it on a USB drive. You can do this part on any computer, so you can create antivirus boot media on a clean computer and then take it to an infected computer.
Insert the boot media into the infected computer and then reboot. The computer should boot from the removable media and load the secure antivirus environment. If it doesn t, you may need to change the boot order in your BIOS or UEFI firmware. You can then follow the instructions on your screen to scan your Windows system for malware and remove it. No malware will be running in the background while you do this.
Antivirus boot discs are useful because they allow you to detect and clean malware infections from outside an infected operating system. If the operating system is severely infected, it may not be possible to remove or even detect all the malware from within it.

Clara Miller is President of The F. B. Heron Foundation, which helps people and communities help themselves out of poverty. Prior to assuming the Foundation s presidency, Miller was President and CEO of Nonprofit Finance Fund NFF which she founded and ran from 1984 through 2010. NFF is a national CDFI that provides financing and financial counsel to social sector organizations, with a track record of 2 billion in direct and advised financing.
Miller was named to The NonProfit Times Power and Influence Top 50 for the five years from 2006 through 2010. She was awarded a Bellagio Residency in 2010 by The Rockefeller Foundation.
In addition to serving on The F. B. Heron Foundation s board, Miller is on the boards of Family Independence Initiative, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, StoneCastle Financial Corp., and The Robert Sterling Clark Foundation. She is a member of the Social Investment Committee of the Kresge Foundation. In 2010 Miller became a member of the first Nonprofit Advisory Committee of the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

AULANA L. PETERS, JD

Aulana Peters is a retired partner of the law firm of Gibson, Dunn Crutcher of Los Angeles, California. She joined Gibson, Dunn Crutcher as an associate in 1973, and was named a partner in the firm in 1980. She continued in the practice of law until 1984, when she accepted an appointment as commissioner of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
In 1988, after serving four years as commissioner, she returned to the private practice of law, from which she retired in December 2000. From January 1, 2001, to March 31, 2002, Peters was a member of the Public Oversight Board Panel of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She was a member of the Steering Committee for the Financial Accounting Standards Board s Financial Reporting Project, and a member of the Board s Blue Ribbon Panel on Audit Effectiveness.
In addition to Deere Company, Peters is a director of Northrop Grumman Corporation and 3M Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company. Also, she is a member of the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees.
She received an undergraduate degree in philosophy from the College of New Rochelle, New York, and a juris doctorate from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
ARNIE PINKSTON, JD
Mr. Pinkston is a business leader and lawyer with more than 30 years of experience at leading institutions managing complex matters including those involving board and corporate governance, strategy, risk management, transactions, litigation, and government investigations. Mr. Pinkston spent much of his career in health care. He was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Allergan, Inc. from October, 2011, until March, 2015. Prior to that he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Beckman Coulter, Inc. Mr. Pinkston also served as Deputy General Counsel at Eli Lilly and Company, and General Counsel of PCS Health Systems, Inc.
Mr. Pinkston has a J.D. from Yale Law School and a BA from Yale College in Geophysics. At Yale, he lettered in football, baseball, and track. He received the 2014 Marcus Kaufman Jurisprudence Award for commitment to the highest ideals of the legal community and community service Anti-Defamation League, and the 2013 Diversity Award for commitment and leadership in promoting diversity in the legal profession Association of Corporate Counsel, Southern California chapter.

As Global Head of Sustainable Business Finance, Curtis Ravenel leads Bloomberg s sustainability initiatives – a Chairman s Office effort and the result of his 2006 Bloomberg Global Leadership Forum proposal. The program aggressively integrates sustainability considerations into all firm operations and leverages the Bloomberg Professional Service to evaluate sustainability-related investment risks and opportunities for its 315,000 customers.
Curtis has worked for Bloomberg in multiple roles. He was the Financial Controller for Asia managing accounting, tax, treasury and audit services for 23 legal entities with combined annual revenues exceeding 1 billion USD. This was preceded by various roles in the Capital Planning and Financial Analysis Groups.
Prior to his work with Bloomberg, L.P., Curtis co-managed a small real estate development group, founded a micro-brewery and worked with the Recycling Advisory Council in Washington, DC conducting Full Cost Accounting and Life Cycle Analysis work.
He currently serves as a board member at US SIF, The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, and at the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board SASB. Jean draws upon her 20 years experience in sustainability and management consulting across a wide range of industries including utilities, extractives, financials, and real estate. She has worked with international clients to integrate sustainability into strategy and operations, minimizing risk and maximizing returns across the triple bottom line. Jean s leadership experience includes 10 years as a Principal at Arup, a global engineering consultancy focused on sustainable development. Jean was also a management consultant at Deloitte, working in the environmental and manufacturing practices to help leading companies improve business and product performance through sustainability.
Jean is a former Loeb Fellow at Harvard University and holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an ME in Environmental Engineering and a BE in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College. MARY SCHAPIRO, JD

The Hon. Mary Schapiro was chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 2009 to 2012, capping a distinguished career in government and private-sector regulation. Ms. Schapiro advises companies on corporate governance and compliance standards that meet regulatory and investor expectations.
Ms. Schapiro s service as the 29th SEC chairman culminated decades of regulatory leadership. She was the first woman to serve as SEC chairman, and the only person to have served as chairman of both the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
During four years as chairman, Ms. Schapiro presided over one of the busiest rule-making agendas in the SEC s history, during which the agency also executed a comprehensive restructuring program to improve protections for investors. Upon her departure, President Obama praised her leadership, saying the SEC became stronger and the financial system safer and better able to serve the American people thanks in large part to Mary s hard work.
Before becoming SEC chairman, Ms. Schapiro served as CEO of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the largest nongovernmental regulator of securities firms. Earlier, she was chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission; a commissioner of the SEC; and general counsel and senior vice president of the Futures Industry Association. She began her career at the CFTC, serving first as a trial attorney and later as counsel and executive assistant to the chairman.

Role of the Chair of the Board

Role of the Vice Chair of the Board
The Vice Chair works closely with the Board Chair and CEO to plan annual board priorities and appropriate level of board engagement. The Vice Chair also works with the CEO to guide the strategic plan for the organization.
Role of the Secretary
A member of the executive committee, the Secretary of the Board is the custodian of the organization s legal documents as well as all board-related records. Role of the Treasurer
A member of the executive committee, The Treasurer of the Board is the officer assigned the primary responsibility of overseeing the management and reporting of the organization s finances. He or she works closely with the Executive Director and Director of Operations to ensure that the proper financial materials reports, annual budgets, and audit materials are easily accessible and comprehensible by the board.
Role of the Chair of the Standards Council
As a member of the executive committee the Chair of the Standards Council will be the Board liaison to the council of experts convened to review and approve the core work and primary output of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, as such this member must have an in-depth understanding of SASB s process and principals. This Board member will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure proper composition of the Standards Council as well as facilitate its recruitment.
Role of the CEO
The responsibilities of the CEO are to implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. The CEO gives direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. The CEO reports to the Board of Directors, primarily liaising with the Chair of the Board and the Executive Committee. The CEO is responsible for regularly informing the Board with regard to progress in implementing programs and any activities or situations necessary for the Board to fulfill its governance duties.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is chartered to make decisions necessary in the interim period between Board meetings. The Executive Committee will inform the Board of any interim decisions taken. The Executive Committee will consist of the Chairman of the Board, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Chair of the Standards Council, and the CEO.
Development Committee
The Development Committee is chartered to establish SASB s fundraising strategy, which maps to the annual budget. The committee will work with SASB management to identify and build relationships with major donors and to engage the full board in development activities as appropriate.
Finance Audit Committee
The Finance Committee is chartered to review SASB s finances quarterly, annually, and more frequently if needed, including budgets, cash flows, and other financial statements required to manage SASB. Additionally, the committee is responsible for working with SASB management to develop the annual budget.
Stakeholder Committee
The Stakeholder Committee is chartered to identify and map key SASB stakeholders, and develop and maintain a stakeholder engagement plan that involves the full board and leadership team of SASB. The objective is to ensure that SASB is appropriately positioned and building constituencies that will ultimately enable SASB s success.
Governance Nomination Committee
The Governance Committee is chartered to review, maintain and update as necessary SASB s by-laws. The committee is also responsible for nominating board candidates when open seats are available.
